On offer is this exceptional and original Aboriginal rock painting from central Australia.

The rare painting measures 26cm x 11cm x 2.2cm and weighs 1.1kg's.

It is painted on red Australian Heavitree Quartzite rock possibly from Central Australia or Northern Territory, depicting an Aboriginal Swagman in oil painting and is titled "The Sundowner" and signed lower right corner but I was not able to make out the surname name, the first name is Ian.

It has been masterfully painted with bright colours and exceptional detail. The rock was originally two pieces which has been joined together and is very strong.

Aboriginal artwork has been increasing in value dramatically and is being collected by people from all over the world, which makes this unique painting very sought after and hard to find and a great piece of investment art.
