This is a 100% GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC or MONEY BACK Hermes Birkin, a bag popularized by Jane Birkin and one of the world's most recognizeable bag. The color is the much coveted BLUE INDIGO, it is dark dark blue but lighter than black. (Pic 6 shows the best depiction of the color) It is a truly versatile color since it is not as severe as sometimes black can be. Plus this bag is a MATTE POROSUS CROCODILE! Definitely rarer and a more desireable skin due to the evenness of porosus scales. Matte skins are also more expensive since the skin has to be perfect as flaws show up more obviously in matte skins than others.
Matte crocodile skins are my personal favorite. I own several matte crocodile birkins. The skin actually becomes shiny with use/age.
This is THE BAG to have if you want something different, if you want to stand out. It is a color that can be worn all year round - with blacks, browns, khakis and denims.
The bag is lined with chevre (goat) leather. It also has complementary palladium hardware.
Bags like these are rarely seen in the Hermes boutique and this bag is very much coveted. Hermes bags are also used for life - their prices increase every year...
CONDITION: This birkin is BRAND NEW. That means, it has NEVER been carried or used - just taken out of the box for the photo shoot. Plastic protection remain in all hardware including the feet.
MEASUREMENTS: The bag measures 35cm-14" long, 28cm-11" high, 18cm-7" deep. The handles are 5" high It features two interior pockets - one zippered and one slot compartment.
MARKINGS: The birkin is marked Hermes, Paris, Made in France in silver under the flap. It is also marked with a ^ sign to denote it is a Porosus crocodile skin. This bag will come with the original keys, lock, clochette and 2 sleeper bags, rain protection and original box.
