Up for auction is this rare old "BOVRIL - THE COOK'S FRIEND"

(stamped on both sides) wooden packing delivery box.

It originally held 1 doz. 2oz. bottles which is stamped

on both ends.

 

With the exception of some black texta numbers

written to one end and twice inside, the box is

in good original condition. Probably from the

1920s or 1930s these Australiana boxes are very

collectible and great for displaying.

 

Measurements: 29cms x 16.75cms x 7cms.
