The finely shaped “X” frame is held together by traditional forged iron tie rods. The solid seat unfolds together up with interlocking struts to provide a comfortable generous sized seat.
The armrests terminate with turned a turned section with original loose ring ornament, turned from the same single piece of timber, showing the high quality of craftsmanship. Light in colour patina of these arm chairs will blend into any décor, being Modern, Art Deco or traditional Renaissance. Priced per pair.

Bidding Tip: More and more I am getting complaints from buyers saying that they really wanted my item but were outbid in the last few seconds. They were 'sniped'. Sniping means placing a bid in the closing seconds of an auction.
There is a way to protect yourself from snipers and prevent being outbid at the last moment. If you bid the absolute maximum you are willing to pay, ebay's proxy system will do the work for you.
Human nature sometimes makes us resist making the highest bid within our spending limits, but proxy bidding does work. There is a common misconception that snipers always win. The truth is that they don't. To win, they must outbid you. By placing a proxy bid at your maximum limit, someone else can outbid you only if they are willing to spend more for the item than you are.
If someone places a last-second bid that isn't high enough, they almost never have enough time to get back in and place a winning bid before the auction ends.

This is a genuine NO RESERVE auction where the highest bidder is the winner not the last so bid early and knock out the competition.

Feedback: We believe that an ebay transaction is not really finalised until the buyer leaves us feedback first. We will reciprocate likewise. We encourage Ebay buyers to communicate with us before leaving feedback if there is a problem, as all feedback is PERMANENT and PUBLIC. Hence if you win and do not pay we will have to let the Ebay community know this too. Best luck at the sale!

EBAY consignments: All items that we, beechworthwine, have listed for Ebay auctions are on consignment from various vendors. Although we try to ensure all the vendors descriptions are correct, due to the number of sales we must rely on the accuracy of the vendors own descriptions. We do supply lots of images for bidders to look at and invite you to visit our actual shop in the centre of Beechworth if you wish to view the item personally. Of course please contact us prior so that we can arrange to have the item at the shop on the day for your inspection. Some items are in storage.
About me: The Beechworth Wine Centre is situated in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia in the former Bank of NSW (circa 1856), an impressive Italianate building of the Gold Era complete with a massive stone walled garden (Clos de Banque). The building is an ideal backdrop for our European antiques, Biedermeier, French Empire, Regency , Louis XV, XVI country and French Provincial and decorative arts and truly impressive ornamental cast iron, marble and antique garden statuary and fountains, which are all very reasonably priced. Oliver von Wilpert, the company's director, sources all antiques personally from Europe, with emphasis on quality, design and affordability. His shop in Beechworth is well known for bargains amongst the antiques trade. Come and experience some of the best things things in life, divine wines and unique antiques and decore.
About Beechworth: Despite the tragic events of Bushfires in Victoria, please be assured that the beautiful historic old Gold town of Beechworth still stands and is open for business as usual.
We all think about the many, who have lost so much in so little time.
Despite some misinformed news broadcasters, there were no houses lost in Indigo shire. Please visit and enjoy our fine old town again soon!
