This rug is a beautiful Genuine Fine Caucasian Kazak Afghan Rug. It is a workshop carpet woven by a Master Weaving House in the Northern Mountainous Regions of Afghanistan. This is a beautifully woven rug, extra heavy duty and suitable for commercial purposes. There is extremely limited production of rugs and runners in this style and design.

The wool is hand spun and vegetable dyed, giving it an old world appearance. This specific type of rug has been popular with our interior design customers this season.

It is a recent strong and fine weave and is in excellent brand new condition. The low cut wool pile has a lovely silky luster and the runner is quite a fine weave as seen on the close up shot. This rug is reminiscent of Russian Caucasian Rugs of the 1800's.
