RARE VINTAGE CUSTOM MILITARY BOWIE COLLECTOR KNIFE

Up for auction is this great custom made theatre trench Bowie Knife that is a huge 11 1/2 inches long with a 6 1/2 inch bowie blade made by hand ,shows some surface spots on the high carbon hand forged blade that is full .  Tanged on the solid brass pommel is "GDL" stamp.

This great hand made bowie knife has nice stacked wood handles with solid brass crossguard and pommel . All stacked wood and brass is tight . I have left the blade as is, apart from a touch up on the razor edged steel ,I don't buff or dress a knife for sale but if you want this blade dressed it'd shine up nice on a 6000 grit wet stone or fine wet and dry . This knife is from the USA but I am not sure if made there.

This Bowie knife is amazingly well balance for such a big heavy knife . Also comes with it's original custom made stacked leather sheath .
