Here is a rare vintage Travel Thermometer made by Tiffany & Company in sterling silver. It is marked with a style or model number “443”.

This unique thermometer has unusual temperature markings – “BLOOD HEAT”, “SUMR HEAT”, “TEMPERATE”, “FREEZING” AND “ZERO”.

There is a suspension ring on top of the case. When the bottom of the thermometer is turned counter-clockwise, a solid cover rotates over the mercury tube for protection.

This interesting travel thermometer is in good working order and the mercury scale gives accurate temperature readings.
It is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs – see photographs.
