CEDARWOOD
Cedrus deodar

Cedarwood Essential Oil has a balsamic sweet, woody aroma, reminiscent of freshly split wood and is often used in soaps, natural insect repellants and woody blends, where it adds body and warmth.

Cedarwood has a calming effect and is of assistance in conditions associated with anxiety and nervous tension. Also aids concentration.

Helpful in muscle and joint rubs where it acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Being an astringent, Cedarwood dries oily and blemished skin when used in a facial wash. It also relieves skin inflammation.

This Oil is good for dandruff when added to hair conditioners, especially if the condition is related to excessively oily skin. Cedarwood is also good for dry hair as it increases the skin and scalps ability to hold in water.


CEDARWOOD OIL CAUTION NOTE
Do not use if pregnant, or if you suffer from high blood pressure. May cause irritation on sensitive skin. Use only diluted and in moderation.
