TOOL BAGS

These are very high quality New Zealand made replica tool bags,  available in colors to suit your seat cover or your taste, we can supply in over 30 colors. Also can supply matching seat cover with correct or updated logos. The bag mounts on rear guard as per original (see below for fitting instructions). It has a high quality zip YKK and logo on it, the zip when closed lines up with a webbing loop so you can lock the bag with a small padlock.

Bags are available in the following dimensions.  

• A) YAMAHA  8" (200mm) wide, 5.5" (140mm) long, 3" (80mm) high.
• B) SUZUKI 8.5" (215mm) wide, 7" (180mm) long, 5" (125mm) high.
• C) HONDA 8.5" (215) wide, 6" (150mm) long. 3.5" (90mm) high.
• D) HONDA 6.5" (165mm) wide, 4.5"(115mm) long, 3" (75mm) high.
• E) KAWASAKI 7.25" (185mm) wide, 5.5" (140mm) long,  3.5"(90mm) high.

N.B. Bags can be made in A, B, C, D, E dimensions to suit any make.

Fitting If you don’t have the original mounting parts for the tool bags the easiest way to fit them is as follows. You will need 4 x 6mm bolts or machine screws 20 to 25mm long, 4 x self locking nuts to suit, 8 x panel washers (large outside diameter washers) and a sheet of hard flexible plastic (this is optional but recommended). It provides a harder wearing base in the bag and helps sandwich the bag between it and the guard. To fit: Cut the plastic to the inside shape of the base of the bag (making a template out of cardboard then tracing around it onto the plastic is easiest). Mark the plastic so you know which is the front (end opposite the logo) Place the plastic on the rear guard where you want the bag to sit (front facing the seat). Mark the plastic in four places, evenly spaced making sure that the washers will seat properly inside the bag (top washers)and under the guard (bottom washers). Drill the plastic with a 6.5mm drill (4 holes). Place the plastic on the guard in the desired position and drill one hole. Place a bolt thru the hole and check the plastic is sitting correctly, drill the hole diagonally opposite and place another bolt thru it. Drill the two remaining holes. Remove the plastic, place in the bag (make sure the plastic is sitting with the front opposite the logo). With a pen or marker, mark through the 4 holes on to the base of the bag. Remove the plastic and cut or punch holes in the bag. Check how the flat washers will fit on and under the guard, you may need to cut or bend the washers so they sit better. Place the plastic in the bag and fit a bolt with washer up thru guard, bag and plastic. Fit a washer and nut. Fit all 4 bolts before tightening. Cut the bolts so there is no excess thread. N.B. Fitting the bolts up this way allows more clearance for the tyre and stops the thread of the bolt/nut corroding.
