Make your chocolates, cookies and cakes come to life with our fabulous Lustre Dust range. Lustre Dust can be used on White Chocolate, Gum Paste, Royal Icing or any frosting receipe that dries hard and is firm to the touch.  Lustre Dust is used to add colour, shimmer and sparkle to all your creations.

Lustre Dust is a shiny, metallic looking dust that gives subtle colour with a high sheen metallic-like finish and leaves a beautiful shimmer.  You can combine several colours of Lustre Dust to create various shades and colours, or you can dust one colour over another to create subtle tones. 

Lustre Dust can be brushed on in dry form with a small artist brush or mixed with alcohol to be painted onto dried gumpaste, icing or white chocolate to give you a stunning painted finish.  When mixed with white spirits like vodka, gin, clear vanilla extract or lemon extract, a more intense colour results and it dries quicker.  It can be thinned with alcohol and used in an airbrush to spray the colour onto gumpaste. (note: make sure you clean your airbrush thoroughly, so that the Lustre Dust does not clog up the airbrush parts).

Lustre Dust is edible, non-toxic and food safe, but is not a food additive with nutritional value. Lustre Dust comes in small, 3.5 gram plastic tub with a re-sealable cap, and as you only need to use the smallest amount, it goes a very long way.

** NOTE: Shipping is calculated on the base product - if you have products that you wish to be combined the overall shipping costs will be much lower. We keep our postage costs to an absolute minimum only charging you for what it costs us to post and a minimal charge for packing materials.
