REGENT OF LONDON PETITE POINT DRESSING TABLE VANITY SET

This auction is for a Regent Of London Petite Point Vanity Brush Set in the original box.

Made in London, this set consists of 3 pieces:

Hairbrush - 24.5cm long

Mirror - 31cm long

Clothes brush - 14.5cm long

This set is not perfect, but that is to be expected given it's age of approx 60-70 years. It is however in excellent condition.

There is some wear on the handles from being held (mostly on the mirror handle) and the mirror has a few hardly noticeable tiny marks around the edges.

The hair brush bristles are quite stiff and the clothes brush bristles are still good but a little softer (that might be how they were made).

The inside of the box has some spots or marks from age or perhaps at some point something has been spilt on it, hard to tell.

The brushes are removable for washing, and inside the casing of both brushes is a Regent of London stating the Patent numbers.

The Petite Point in particular looks stunning. It is protected by a clear plastic film and showcases gold, blue, pink and green thread.

Please note I am not an expert on these sets, my description has been assisted with information from the internet and my own observation.
