Classic 50's Wingback Lounge















Classic 50's wingback lounge. Awesome design with upswept arms and splayed legs.

Very featherston looking, and could possibly be by renowned australian designer Paul Kafka. Its certainly very Kafka looking, but as with a lot of furniture from this era the makers mark can no longer be found.

Condition:

I purchased this lounge from a deceased estate who had recovered it recently in a contempory fabric.  As such the upholstery is in great condition with no rips, tears, fading or other issues - it looks great. The springs in the seat are in excellent order also.

However, it doesnt photograph well, the pattern gets muddled into a sort of grey mess - enlarge the closeup photos to get a better idea of what it looks like.

Or you could recover it - imagine how great that would look!!

Hi, a number of people have asked for the dimensions. The lounge is approx 180cm at widest point, 80cm front to back, 65cm high at front top of arm and 82cm high at backrest. Good luck everyone.....
