SPECIAL FEATURES: [Text & Images Contain Registered Copyrighted Material of Internetional Business And logistics and its owner(s)]
Digital TV Grade
Beware other cheap cables on eBay which don't state the 'RG' Rating. Analog TV will soon be ceased in Australia and RG-6 is a Required Standard for stable home based Digital Reception (eg; DVB-T). RG-6 uses a much thicker core than the older RG-59 cables and is not cheap. Other cheaper cables which don't advertise their rating may be of the lower grade which will affect your Digital TV reception and may be worthless in the near future.
RG-6, Heavy Gauge AWG Copper Wire This thick RG-6 cable houses a 18 AWG, 75 ohm impedance solid copper core, and is one of the highest end flylead cables the market.
Efficient Heavy Duty Multiple shielding We focus on 'Quality', not appearance!. The thick 18 AWG high performance copper core inside is encased by very thick multiple layers of heavy duty shielding to keep noise and interference to an absolute bare minimum, ensuring superior crystal clear signal transmission. The solid and tightly packed efficient injection moulded PVC water resistant coating ensures your cable is highly resistant to oxidation from end to end, helping to ensure that your cable doesn't rust from the inside out. Other cables may have solid metal exteriors that expand with heat, creating leaks, or may have cheap porus coatings and shielding prone to cracking (as in some braided cables).
Money back satisfaction guarantee We are so confident that this cable will offer you great performance that we start all auctions at very low prices and offer one of the lowest shipping costs on eBay. This way, there's no ridiculous overpricing! In addition, if you are not pleased with the performance of this cable, you can return it for a full refund of your purchase price within 30 days!

l General Information about this RG-6 Cable [Text & Images Contain Registered Copyrighted Material of Internetional Business And logistics and its owner(s)]
Domestic TV appliances use these cables to connect to the building's antenna on the roof so TV signals can flow from the antenna to the TV / appliance. This RG-6 cable is a very high quality cable and is among the best available for home use. The cable is made to be compatible with the new Digital TV (DVB-T) broadcasts and therefore surpasses the typical cheaper RG-59 cables found in many electronic shops previously made for Analogue TV. These RG-6 cables are efficiently made to provide you with an affordable high performance product at a fraction of the price you might find elsewhere.
This cable uses the Belling-Lee connector (IEC 169-2 connector), more often simply known as TV aerial plug or PAL connector. It is the traditional European / UK / British / Australian antenna connector for TV sets and FM-radio receivers, and is probably the oldest coaxial RF connection type still commonly in use today by connecting a receiver to a terrestrial VHF/UHF roof antenna, antenna amplifier, or CATV network, via a coaxial cable.

The connection type was invented at Belling & Lee Ltd in Enfield, England, around 1922, at the time the first BBC broadcasts went live. It was originally only intended for medium frequency broadcasts, where accurate impedance matching of an antenna connector was not a concern, however it can still be used for modern digital broadcasts such as DVB-T when the higher grade RG-6 cable standard is used.
This cable is a Coaxial cable (or 'Coax'), which is a generic name for a type of electrical transmission cable with an inner metallic conductor (often made of copper) surrounded by a tube like insulating layer often made of a flexible material with a high dielectric constant, which is then surrounded by a conductive layer on the outside (typically of fine woven / braided wire for flexibility, or of a thin metallic foil), followed by the exterior being covered with a thin insulating layer, often made of PVC or braided plastic. There are many grades of Coaxial Cables. and RG-6 is the highest grade used for most standard home uses.

Although coaxial cables have many connectors which can be interchanged using adapters with little to no effect on performance, you should not confuse this cable with the "F' type connectors (with a very tiny pin in the centre, often used in European countries), or RCA cables (the Yellow, White, Red cables that plug into your DVD player or Gaming console (PS3, Wii or X-Box 360 etc)- these all use a different connector (which you can get an adapter for). This Cable is capable of carrying UHF and VHF frequencies, which includes Digital (DVB-T / ATSC / ISDB-T etc) and Analogue (PAL, NTSC and SECAM) signals, with little to no loss over 2 metres. This is because the capable is made to RG-6 Standards, which is the standard required for Digital Television to be stable over this distance. Regardless of the newer technologies available (HDMI , DVI etc), you will probably need this cable if you intend to receive Television signals (as Most Free to air signals will mostly have to first arrive at your appliance through an antenna or your rooftop antenna, which will often requires this cable to link it to your television appliance).
Please check your wall socket to determine the type of connection used. The external ring diameter of this IEC 169-2 plug is approximately 9.5mm, and the internal pin is around 2mm.

Our opinion of its features [Text & Images Contain Registered Copyrighted Material of Internetional Business And logistics and its owner(s)]
This is a very high quality RG-6 Multi shielded cable. At 2 to 4 Metres, there is no noticeable difference in performance with any of the more expensive cables available. It is definitely better than the older cheaper RG-59 cables used for Analogue signal transmission (analogue TV etc.)
We think you should consider this high quality cable as the front line of your home television setups because the television signals (Digital or Analogue) have to first go through this cable before any other. As such you shouldn't settle for anything less than this high quality RG-6 Multi Shielded cable to connect your home entertainment system to your wall socket (and rooftop antenna).

Don't let your High definition digital signal transmission drop any further than it needs to after travelling all the way from your building's antenna.
This cable is well built. Other cables may use braids or metal coatings that expand and contract with differences in temperature (creating gaps etc), and don't protect the inner cables from accidental furniture crushes or bending.. This cable however, uses waterproof and temperature stress resistant PVC coating that takes the brunt of any impact also making it is more durable and resistant to the elements. It won't absorb and spread condensation and moisture like some other cables. So although it is less flexible, it will likely last much longer and has a greater chance of survival after being trampled or crushed by sharp household objects.
There are no known problems or issues with these cables. This cable performs perfectly and as expected. |
