'The Good Life' was a British sitcom that ran from 1975 to 1978. The series followed the trials and tribulations as Tom & Barbara good struggled to establish a self-sufficient lifestyle in Suburban London. The series starred Richard Briers, Felicity Kendal, Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington.

Richard David Briers CBE is the amazingly talented English actor whose career spans theatre, TV, film and radio.

Richard first came to fame as George Starling in 'Marriage Lines' in the mid-1960s; then came 'The Good Life' which him a household name and he has gone on to star in numerous hits including 'Ever Decreasing Circles', 'Monarch of the Glen', 'All in Good Faith', 'Mr. Bean', 'Lovejoy', 'Inspector Morse', 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Extras' to name but a few :)

Richard is also President of the Parkinson's Disease Society.
