Lid, sides and base construction:  0.6mm Stucco embossed Aluminium sheet is bonded to a mixture of 6mm and 9mm ply.

The case is finished with angle extrusion on the edges with tongue and groove extension on the joint between the lid and base.  The extrusions are exclusive to The Aluminium Roadcase Company, and provide total dust protection plus high moisture and weather resistance.

Protective corners and Aluminium straps are riveted in place and lids are hinged with 90deg stay hinges and surface mounted Beetlelocks with key.
