ROLAND TR-909 DRUM MACHINE - EXCELLENT CONDITION - WORKS PERFECTLY

The famous Roland TR-909 is here and up for auction right now. This is an essential tool for the dance fans out there. It holds the most used and famous dance drum sounds in western music history just about!

This machine is awesome, it sounds punchy, fat, bouncy, powerful, bassy where appropriate, clear, analog and beautiful.

Every drum has its own volume control and individual output which for a machine this age is startlingly superb. It has a nice red digital display which is easy to understand.  This machine is easy to programme, holds sequences and patterns and has MIDI wow!

The tempo control is a simple rotary control and of course this can be synced up via midi or by using Roland's own sync facility which is supplied via a discrete socket on the rear of the unit.

All in all this is a great machine and totally awesome. Cosmetically of course it has some scuffs but looks great really.

Comes supplied with power cord but no user guide sadly. However, a user guide can be downloaded from the net and frankly this is so simple to use and so intuitive you don't really need a manual.

While the winning bidder is most welcome to use any of the postal services offered, I am also more than happy for the winning bidder to come and collect the Roland TR-909 drum machine in person and either pay cash on collection or pay up front using PayPal. If the winning bidder chooses to pay using PayPal, they must do so 5 business days in advance of collecting the drum machine. If you choose to pay cash on collection, it must be within 3 days of winning the auction.

MEMBERS WITH LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK CANNOT BID UNLESS…

they send me their landline details and their verified PayPal and ebay home address. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the possible cancellation of the bid and the matter being reported to ebay. I am sorry to have to make this condition but I have had problems and want to keep ebay a safe trading environment for everyone.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE:

All auction postage fees INCLUDE insurance up to the winning bid value of the item which has been won and paid for.

It is essential that you understand the following. If a claim is necessary, it must be made with me and through the postal insurer BEFORE attempting to recover money from PayPal. It is highly unlikely that this item will become damaged in transit but should it do so all claims must be at least attempted through the claiming procedures of the insurer. Only when all avenues have been exhausted without success can the winning bidder go to PayPal.

WHEN SIGNING FOR YOUR PACKAGE PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING: The way in which our pricing structure works is that we shop around for the cheapest courier we can, using various different internet shipping agents. This varies depending on the nature of the parcel and where the item is being sent. There is one exception to this rule. If we find that TNT is the cheapest courier, we will inform the winning bidder prior to taking payment because TNT present a rule for signing for parcels which is different to other couriers. TNT insist that where a parcel is insured, the insurance against damage in transit only applies before the parcel is signed for. Once the parcel has been signed for, it becomes the ENTIRE responsibility of the recipient, i.e. the winning bidder and no insurance claim can be made. We recommend that where TNT is used and we inform the winning bidder, we recommend that the winning bidder refuses to sign for the parcel until they have inspected it. If the driver is unwilling to allow inspection, please report the matter to me immediately as the driver is then in breach of contract.

It is for this reason we offer a second choice of international shipping service. If we shop around and tell the winning bidder that TNT is the cheapest option and in the light of the above mentioned conditions, the winning bidder is not happy with the use of TNT, we then refer you to the use of our second international shipping service which could be another courier but for sure will not be TNT. On that basis, you are at liberty to sign for the parcel and still make a claim within 2 business days and in some cases longer.

Please also note that we will endeavour not to use TNT in the first instance and should we find a cheaper courier for international shipping, we will let the winning bidder know and then the conditions for insurance will apply to that courier and you will be at liberty to claim after signing for the parcel.

None of these conditions apply to U.K. deliveries as we never use TNT for U.K deliveries.

Once again to summarise, in the event we use TNT, we will give the winning bidder the choice of using TNT with the understanding that insurance is voided after signing for the parcel or they can choose our second international shipping service.

Further conditions of sale are as follows:

The serial number of the item being sold will either be stated in the listing OR will be issued to PayPal prior to despatch. The purpose of this measure is to prevent the wrongful exchange of goods by the buyer. We recognise that most buyers are very honest but have to implement this measure to protect ourselves.

An invisible seal has been placed on all opening points of the item and on all screws to prevent the unauthorised opening by the buyer of our items which we sell. Only when written permission is issued may the buyer open the item up. Unauthorised opening up of the item will void any claim against andylaidlermusic of any kind whether it be an insurance claim in the first instance or through PayPal at some later stage.

The mains plug on an item may not be changed without the written permission of andylaidlermusic.

We will not falsely devalue the item in the event of an export to benefit the importee or recipient. Requests to carry out such illegal activity will be reported to both ebay and the police.

In the unlikely event of a claim needing to be made through a courier other than TNT, the claim must be made within 48 actual hours of the item being signed for. In order for the claim to qualify for consideration, all conditions must have been adhered to and none of the conditions can be breached.
