Unusual  Rosenstengel - side table / telephone table  circa 1930's

Silky Oak .nice proportions , suit any decor - could beused in any  room .

bedroom , or as a sofa table etc etc  .

In very good condition .

This is an unusual sized table and may have been made for a special order ie: a oner of piece.. 

Dimensions  are  69cm W x 36cm D x 73cm H

 

Pick up in Bray park - Cash on pick up is my only option for this piece of furniture.

I have been advised that the timber is actually  "SILKWOOD"  ( queensland maple) and is not silky oak .

This is still a very nice peice of furniture .  

The cabriolet legs are uncommon , I believe and the peice was built as a miniature bookcase to be used beside a lounge chair.
