ROYAL ALBERT OLD COUNTRY ROSES A CARDEW BETTY TEAPOT ~  FIRST QUALITY MADE IN ENGLAND.

 THIS SET IS IN  VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, THE GOLD IS NICE AND BRIGHT.

 THE SET CONSISTS OF:-

A LARGE BROWN BETTY TEAPOT APPROX 6-8CUPS , TO THE TOP LID IT IS DECORATED WITH A BOWL A PLATE A CUP A CLOTH AND A TRAY, ALL DECORATED IN THE OLD COUNTRY ROSES PATTERN, ALSO ON TOP IS A BOOK CALLED IDENTIFYING ROSES. THE TEAPOT MEASURES 23CM ACROSS HANDLE TO SPOUT x 15CM HIGH. THE TEAPOT BASE IS DECORATED IN A DEEP DARK RED TO MATCH THE ROSES, THERE IS SLIGHT CRAZING TO A COUPLE OF ORNAMENTS ON TOP, BUT AS COLLECTORS KNOW THIS ALWAYS IS A FEATURE OF THE CARDEW TEAPOTS

IT IS CLEARLY BACKSTAMPED FIRST QUALITY MADE IN ENGLAND.
