This engine (complete including light weight flywheel, Excedy clutch, starter motor and harness) is now surplus to my requirements. It has new housings, new water pump, new PTS race seals, new bearings, special secrets inside and is fully balanced and built for racing. It is only surplus because I am converting my race car to a 6.0 L V8 and that car will race in another category so all my Rotary bits are going, going, going, going .......soon gone from eBay. This particular item is the “piece de resistance” of my spare parts bin. Just put in your car, run in sensibly and then insert new plugs, tune and RACE!!! These engines are built by Ric Shaw Racing for torque, power and most of all RELIABILITY. Ric has raced this type of engine spec twice at Nurburgring and has finished the 24 hour race both times. Surley an ultimate test of the 13B Rotary engine. He has also raced this spec engine in numerous enduro events in Australia and it has never failed to finish. I personally raced a similar spec engine in all rounds of the Australian Motor Racing Championship last year and the engine performed faultlessly. At the end of the season we took it in a 300 kilometre endurance race and it was the fastest car all weekend. Fastest in practice, fastest in qualifying, fastest in the race but alas finished only 4th outright as the coil packs misfired for more than 85 laps. This caused 3 extra pit stops to try to fix the problem and put enormous strain on all components but still the engine lasted despite very loud banging noises from the misfire and severe jerking of all components as the spark interrupted the normal firing of the engine. Despite all this, the engine just kept going and the fastest lap of the weekend was the 4th last lap – lap no 128 – see www.natsoft.biz for full details To build an engine like this costs over $10,000 AUD Donor JDM engine $2000 Rebuild $7000 Exeddy Clutch $1200 Light Flywheel $250 Here you can have it for a bargain price. PS They are also ideal for street use as they start first time easily and idle smoothly. No disadvantage from stock Mazda smoothness. We recommend and use TNT-A Door to Door Service Australia Wide usually within 2-3 days after despatch ex Sydney Cost Approx Shipping Cost for EAST COAST, AUSTRALIA is AUD $245.00.
