The Rancilio Rocky grinder is loved by espresso drinkers around the globe. It is hard-wearing, quiet and incredibly easy to use. As has come to be expected of all Rancilio’s products, the Rocky has set the bar for other grinders competing in the domestic market. Both the internal mechanisms and the exterior are built to last.
Grinding Wheels
The Rancilio Rocky has 50mm commercial grind wheels (burr set) that are tempered, hardened steel, cut to a precise teeth pattern. This increases the longevity and performance of the grinder. The grind wheels are also easily replaceable.
Doser Model
This is the Doser Model. Therefore it has a second container that has 6 segments that the ground coffee sits in. This enables a 7 gram dose of ground coffee to be delivered with a flick of the lever. If you wanted to operate the Doser grinder like a Doserless version - you can grind the amount of coffee you think you will need and then flick the lever several times to deliver this ground coffee into your filter basket.
UV Protected Bean Hopper
The 300 gram capacity hopper is blue tint in colour to help reduce UV damage to the beans
Grind Size Options
In addition to the 40 grind settings provided on the dial, the Rocky can go beyond that to give you almost 55 settings! This allows you to select the grind size that will produce your desired coffee. The Rocky can grind fine enough for Turkish coffee or course enough for French Press coffee makers and anything in between!
Safety
In the unlikely event that the Rocky malfunctions, overheats or becomes jammed, there is a built in thermal protection device.
Your grinder is dispatched using receipted delivery, insured against loss or damage.
