On offer is an old 12" diameter Japanese glass float with a factory stamp considered rare to find from The Ocean Fishing Co of Japan.
- full reference of this fishing company can be found in Walt Pichs new book under mark #141.
-the float is typical aquamarine colour with thick glass weighing 7 1/2 pounds.
-the mark is bold & on a seperate button close to the seal.... looks great...deep clear raised letters.
- no chips to either button,no cracks or blemishes.
- Full of bubbles & some tiny bits of debris typical of the older crude floats,...also some signs of tar around both buttons.
I have never seen or heard of another one found here in Australia,.. this is a true collectors float & in perfect condition.
