Rare Early Victorian Adjustable Fire Screen

Up for auction is a Rare Early Victorian (c. 1840) Adjustable Fire Screen with barley twist and a pulley system.

It is in very good original condition. No major damage on the frame. Plenty of wear on the upholstery as our would expect after 150+ year. There aren't any rips or bits that stand out, it is all worn consistently throughout. The color and character of the piece is superb, there is now work needed to it, straight into home or shop.

The pulley system is most unusual, we've never seen early fire screens like this. While the photos show it fully extended, it can be adjusted to be at any height.
