About us: We have been trading on eBay since 1999. Our aim has been and still is to offer top products for the best possible price, as well as providing the best possible service. We always try to bring you interesting and quality articles, so come back from time to time and have a look what we found for you :-)
Auction Terms and Conditions (please read carefully before you bid):
We do not use the eBay check-out. After the auction we will send you 2 emails with all the payment details, one through email and a spam filter safe back-up message through ebay messages. If you think you didn't get a mail please have a look at your ebay message folder.
Shipping:
We process payments at the end of the week (when most payments should have arrived) and ship the following Monday and Tuesday.
Please make sure your payment is made by Tuesday or Wednesday, otherwise it might be processed and shipped the following week.
Paypal payments are not "instant" to us. Items are considered paid when the money has arrived in our bank account where we can actually use it (to pay for postage cost for example). If you elect to pay by eCheque through PayPal it might take about 10 days until the payment is processed for shipping.
We will send you a "thank you" mail when your payment is processed, usually on a Friday / Saturday.
We list a lot of items and have to streamline the workload somehow to be able to offer you all these items and still stay stay on top of the workload. If you do not agree with our shipping schedule, PLEASE DON'T BID. If you do agree, please don't punish us through the feedback system for "slow postage" if the item was sent on schedule.
A comment about some negative feedback left recently: We try very hard to keep every buyer happy. A lot of our items are old or second hand. We can only test them here and describe what we see as accurately as possible. If you find something is not as described, or as you have imagined it, please send us an email and let us know. We are reasonable and can be talked to, but only if we know there's a problem.
Postage: At the moment we process payments once a week (mostly on a Friday, but sometimes Saturday or Sunday). We ship Mondays and Tuesdays the following week. We do send out invoices by mail and ebay message straight after the auction. Have a look in your ebay messages if you think you didn't get a mail. If we process payments on a Friday and your payment arrives the following Sunday, the item will be sent with the next lot the week after. If you need something in a hurry please let us know and we will accomodate you and ship asap.

By Bidding or Buying on this item, you have agreed to our terms and condition.All payments of the winning bid must be made within 7 working days. Unpaid auction wins will be forfeited after 7 days and a Non-Payer report will be filed with eBay.

The buyer should specify the auction item number (the item number displayed in the auction and in the winning buyer's email from treausure-chest-de,) when making payment. The buyer will be responsible for any shipping delay due to not leaving the appropriate item number.

We endeavor to try our very best to accurately describe the item listed. We cannot test some items. Items described as "not tested" are sold "as is". We cannot confirm that they are working and will NOT refund money if they don't work. We cannot offer warranties for used items. Items are tested and described as they are at the time of testing. We estimate postage cost at the time of listing based on the approximate "Cubic Weight" and provide a postage calculator in the description, so you know exactly how much to allow for postage before you bid. We will NOT refund money if the actual postage cost happens to be less than the amount shown in the postage calculator. We think providing the postage cost up-front is fair, so you can decide how much to bid.
- Non or late payments. We will NOT place non payers on external black lists (like a lot of frustrated sellers do), because we think they are open to abuse. We WILL open a dispute and give blatant non payers a non payment strike. We can only appeal to your sense of fairness here. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BID. Once you win it's your's. I will not accept "but I didn't realize..." excuses any more, if it was mentioned in the description. If anything is unclear please ask BEFORE you bid (question for the seller). I will answer questions honestly and to the best of my ability.

Packing:
I have someone to help me pack, but I tape and check all parcels myself. While I take great care to package items safely, it has happened that items have arrived broken. They must have been extremely mistreated by Australia Post. On rare occasions parcels look like they got lost in the mail. They were sent, but did not seem to have arrived and did not get returned to me either. I cannot control what happens to parcels when they leave here and I do offer insurance or registered mail options. So if you want insurance to protect yourself against this sort of thing, please choose registered or insured mail from the postage calculator.

Australian buyers: Im not allowed to discourage paypal. I will accept Paypal from Australian buyers, but would appreciate it if you used the free option of bank transfer for your payments. Let's all help to keep the fees down as long as still possible! .

Some additional comments:
Postage cost:
As mentioned above I offer a postage calculator in the item description, so you know exactly how much postage will be when you bid. I estimate the postage cost at the time of listing the item based on the approximate weight and size (cubic weight) of the parcel. I also have some additional costs for packing to cover the help. Sometimes, depending on the person at the counter at the post office, I get away with only being charged for the actual weight, regardless of size, sometimes I get charged for the size rather than weight. There is no way for me to plan for that, but it does affect the the price on the postage label. Overall I don't make money on postage, but I do cover my costs. I think being up-front about the total cost by offering the postage calculator is the fairest practical way to address the postage problem. If you think there is a mistake with the postage amount, please let me know before the end of the auction. Everyone sees the price of postage and bids accordingly, so I do not reduce the price after the auction has finished. If you do not agree with this policy, please don't bid.
Combined postage:
I will combine postage if you buy more than one item. My auction program doesn't warn me of this, so please let me know if you have bought, or are thinking of buying, more than one item and I will give you a combined postage price.
Emails and blackmail / Feedback extortion:
You can talk to me about everything and I will try my best to please you. But I do not like rude mails, threats or feedback extortion.
I had a particulary nasty case of feedback extortion which has resulted in a negative feedback comment. I reported it to eBay, but according to their "support", they can't do anything about it even though they claim to have a policy where they forbid feedback extortion. I should have reported it before the comment was left, which I will do, should it happen again in the future.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
