About the Author:
William Delbert Gann (1878- 1955) , also W. D. Gann, was a trader
recognized not only for his trading abilities, but also for his
financial market forecasts. In the month of September 1909, Gann
allowed a newspaper reporter to
follow along with him on the floor of New York Stock Exchange; the
reporter claims to have witnessed Gann pulling off an amazing 92%
winning trade ratio during those 30 days, a feat deemed to be virtually
impossible by most professional traders, especially considering that he
made over 250 trades during that month. Gann claimed to have made over
50 million dollars in profits from his market forecasting and trading.
And amazingly avoided the Great Depression.

Even though this book was written way back in 1923, it can be of
relevance to todays's markets because every rule is based on practical
mathematical laws. One thing that is very important here is the sample
of annual forecasts which which has been presented. From these dates
for highs and lows, one can carefully study them and learn certain
cycles that appear in the market even to this present time.

valuable work indeed!
