Caption: The Gorge, Launceston, Tas. This is an original real photo postcard looking along the Gorge at Launceston, in Tasmania, Australia. This must be just after a flood as the gorge is quite full of water. The tourist path is seen at left and the steel bridge crossing can be seen at the entrance of the gorge. Publisher: Blindstamped lower right - "Spuling Photo". (Not numbered).
Not Postally used. Pencil Writing on back. Date: Not dated, I am guessing this is from about the 1910's. Condition: Corner bumping, postmark impression from being sent in an envelope, a little wear, image shows good detail, reasonable to reasonable plus condition overall. Check my other auctions this week for more postcards. Any number will ship together for the same price as below.
