A QUICK NOTE ON CONDITION GRADING.... AS NEW - Looks as if this book has just been bought, pages are clean & crisp, spine is uncreased. Little or No sign of having been read. EXCELLENT - Book is in GREAT shape, but will have some subtle defect, eg slight creasing of the spine or cover, neat inscription etc VERY GOOD - Book has some obvious defects such as creased spine &/or cover, discolored pages, inscription etc GOOD - These books are well loved and bear the signs of having been well thumbed. Many obvious defects but NO loose leaves or tears AVERAGE / POOR - Books have severe defects but are not falling apart. They are well creased, may be highlighted or underlined, inscribed. "RECOVERY FROM ALCOHOLISM" by Dr Eric Gaudry (233 Pages - Very Good+++ Condition) A GUIDE FOR ALCOHOLICS AND THOSE WHO HELP THEM. Hope is the keyword in this comprehensive and clearly written guide. Alcoholics can and do recover from the devastating and debilitating condition called alcoholism and resume their roles as fully functioning members of society in family, occupational and social areas. The problem is that the percentage of those who retuirn to uncontrolled drinking is far too high. In part this is caused by lack of understanding in the recovery process by alcoholics themselves, by their families and by their employers and workmates. The program outlined in this book has been designed to help alcoholics and all those who have an interest in their welfare during the recovery period. Many techniques that have been shown to help recovery have been analysed and included in an overall program designed to break the vicious circle of alcoholic drinking and to maintain sobriety. The main source of help is alcoholics anonymous which is referred to constantly. Everyone who is or knows an alcoholic should read this book. Local pick-up of items is welcome.
