These recycled or upcycled yarns are a combination of various fine strands of yarn, wound into 100gr, ready-to-use, balls. Best result are achieved with 4mm-6mm needles, using patterns for 8 -12ply. Using 5mm needles, 19 stitches x 25 rows, will give you a 10cm square. Each ball is a combination of natural and man-made fibres, depending on what is available for recycling, at any given time. It is difficult to give an exact yarn length measurement, but each ball will give a minimum length of 180m.
