This is one of a series of designs of signs for the bar, the den, the wine cellar or other appropriate places. Each is a piece of authentic stained glass, hand painted and made and comes complete with chains for hanging.

The signs make excellent and very different presents for those special occasions such as Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays and Fathers’ Day.

The panel measures 225 mm wide by 250mm high.

Although seen to best advantage in a window where it will catch the sun, the sign can also be hung against a white or very light coloured wall.

Other designs available include beer (a variety of poses), wine (red and white), Footy (currently West Coast Eagles and Dockers).

Each can be made to order with individualised caption, for example "Dad’s Bar", "John’s Bar". and in a choice of colours and team colours.

I use only quality glass and lead. The paints used are vitreous paints or stains, from which stained glass takes its name. They are the same type as used in the Middle Ages and are applied with the same techniques as then.

Because of the notorious difficulty of photographing stained glass I usually show two pictures, one taken against a window and the other against a light box. Neither unfortunately really succeeds in showing the true beauty of the glass.
