The auctioneer who sold me this desk assured me it was oak, but I am not entirely sure. The wood is extremely hard though, as I discovered when trying to work with it. I never got around to building the two big drawers at the bottom, but if you have the skills you will end up with a lovely piece of furniture. The brass handles for the three remaining drawers will come with the desk. The desk drawers have some paint splattering in them as the desk came out of a high school art department, but are generally in good condition. The desk top measures 78cm by 127cm, and the desk stands 75cm high.
Selling as a result of moving. Desk must be picked up by 15th November. Pay on Pickup preferred. Inspection welcome. Pickup is from Kingswood in Western Sydney.
The item is not one singe unit, but rather pulls down into pieces - the top comes off and the two towers of drawers are separate. Makes for easy transportation.
