Retro Danish style lounge suite couch/sofa +2 armchairs

Description 

Circa 1960's/1970's. Maker unknown. Solid hardwood frame, looks to be Oak, but may be Blackwood. Fantastic Danish style with cushion support straps being part of the visible design, wrapping around the outer frame. Stylish mortice and tenon joints. Brown velvet cushion covers in fantastic condition with no obvious stains or tears. Cushions are the modern type high denisty foam, not the old latex cushions which tend to disintergrate over time. The black strapping is showing wear in some places but is still strong and flexible, with no cushion sagging. The seats are firm and surprisingly comfortable to sit in thanks to the sloped back ergonomic design. The straps are easy to replace if needed, as the strapping is fixed in with metal clips that slot into a precut groove. All chairs and the couch are fixed back and do not recline or fold down into a bed.

Couch measures 196cm wide x 49cm height to armrests, 65cm height to backrest frame, 85cm height to back rest cushion when in place x 78cm depth (out from wall). Each chair measures 74cm wide x 49cm height to armrests, 65cm height to backrest frame, 85cm height to back rest cushion when in place x 78cm depth (out from wall).
