Retro Extendable Table and 7 Dining Chairs

This beautiful original and well preserved 1960’s dining suite with solid teak frame and has black coloured vinyl cushioning on the chairs.  The table top and edging is surfaced with teak veneer.

This  round table extends to incorporate the full complement of  6 chairs or can be used as a 4 seater setting. I have included a seventh chair as a spare.

As you would have noticed, round extendable tables with matching chairs are very hard to find which is what makes this setting all the more attractive.

Apart from minor scuffs (expected from a 40 yr old piece of furniture) the whole setting is in excellent condition and all chair frames are very firm.  Its condition suggests that it has had little use since new.

The vinyl is in fantastic condition with no discolouration, tears or obvious wear.

This dining suite is an excellent example of this era and will requires no repair or refinishing.  As well as the timber possessing a unique natural beauty , it this type of furniture only requires an occasional light wipe of wood oil to maintain it's patina: much nicer than varnish and water based coatings.
