RETRO SIDEBOARD/CHEST OF DRAWERS
Description
Made by J.A. Harris in Ballarat, circa 1960's/1970's. Would have originally been a dressing table with the mirror removed. The usual teak veneer on chipboard construction. Hardwood frame and drawer sides. Structurally solid and all drawers slide easily. Minimalist design with drawer handles being cut out grooves along lower drawer edge, Classic Danish style spindle legs. Good overall condition with only a few minor marks and veneer chips, most of these being on the edge beading, which could replaced as veneer replacement strips can be bought at most hardware stores. Small wood chip to lower edge of middle drawer on left side (see pics)
Sideboard measures 168cm length x 74cm height x 44.5cm depth (out from wall)

This is a used/vintage item. The buyer should expect some normal wear and tear marks for an item of it's age.

Pick up/Delivery.
Pick up is welcome in central Ballarat, Victoria, or see below for our delivery prices. Please note we are not a shop or a transport company, we only offer a limited Victorian state delivery as a courtesy. All deliveries are scheduled around our normal weekly work and travel timetable. We usually deliver to Melbourne once or twice a week, we only occasionally deliver to Melbourne on weekends, when we have backlog of items. Please email me prior to the end of this auction with any specific delivery requirements or questions.
Delivery/shipping.
To encourage more buyers we offer a cheap delivery service within a 100-200 Km range of Ballarat. For interstate deliveries, or areas outside of that range it is best to contact a courier company that services your local area. We cannot provide quotes for third party couriers, or we would be on the phone all day. We recommend contacting the Ballarat branch of Pack and Send on 03 5339 1533. We are happy to drop the item into their depot at no extra charge, which greatly reduces the overall transport costs. We have provided approximate measurements/dimensions in the item description above, to provide when seeking quotes.
***Please be aware that most courier quotes for an item of this size will likely start near $150-$250 and double and even triple for interstate regions.***

Prices quoted are for standard delivery only. We are happy to assist with installation of items into your house/apartment. However, if you are unable to help with unloading of heavy items we may need to organise a second person to come along on deliveries. This will incur extra charges
