The Boeing 737 made its maiden flight on 9th April 1967. This short-haul airliner, 2.500 of which have been sold to date, was to become the most successful passenger aircraft of all time. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney engines with 7,250 kp thrust, the 737 reaches a max. speed of 934 km/h.
