These are self-powered 240VAC studio monitors. Loud and clean with a variety on inputs on the rear including microphone and line. I have been using them as computer speakers buy have used them to monitor in my home studio. One of the items has a fully working, bit slightly sticky, on off switch. Other than that, they are faultless. GREAT FOR YOUR iPOD. The Blurb from Roland says: Built in 15 Watt amplifier and magnetically shielded 12cm coaxial two-way speaker. 1/4" jack mic input (-50dBm), 2 RCA phono line inputs (-10dBm) and line out (-10dBm). Individual volume control for mic, line1, line 2 and loudness control. Built in mic stand mounting bush. Frequency Range 80Hz - 20kHz Power consumption 17W (230V AC) Dimensions 160(W) x 185(D) x 235 (H) Weight 3.2kg
