Roland SH-2000 Synth Early Model with Moog type Filter

OK, what we have got here is a chance for you to acquire a very, very select piece of Synthesiser History.

Roland's SH-2000 - and a very limited special edition too...

One of the earliest synth made. In particular, this is a very very rare item. Because roland, on the early models,  implemented a LADDER FILTER, as used by Moog. However, once Moog Found out, Roland had to revise the filter design, to a less smooth, less copyright infringing design. Only very early model SH-2000's had the ladder filter.

However, the downside is that this synth is Faulty. Keys stick, the faceplate on the front is almost completely worn away. Many functions do not work. At the moment I use it for FX, wind noises and the like. However, being discrete electronics, it is quite fixable. For those with the time, knowledge & love to do it, it is all there waiting for you. Please bear this in mind. Many functions do not work on this synth. I suggest Melbournians that are interested, come round to enjoy it prior to bidding.
