This wooden  shield is the Auxilary Optio 2nd in command to the Centurion, wearable as well as wall mountable.  It is fully clad in heavy duty leather and reinforced with steel edges.  Upholstery nails and studs used to fasten as well as decorate.  Revised from the 'Osprey Men at Arms Series'.

 Shield measures approx 90cm x 46cm.
