Round Leaved Moort

Eucalyptus platypus

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

The Round Leaved Moort is an evergreen tree to 8 metres with a spread of 3 metres and a useful backyard specimen. A native of Western Australia where it prefers light to medium poorly drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost hardy.

It has slender stems that can be thicket-forming if not pruned. The bark is  grey, smooth and mottled with reddish brown. The leaves are bright green and form a densely textured crown. The flowers are white appearing in winter. This shady tree is an excellent one for spending the afternoon beneath its crown.

Offered is a packet of approximately 200 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to propagate this easily grown tree.

 All my seed is posted in bubble wrap.
