Royal Albert Celebration Trio

Description: A beautiful English made, Celebration trio from Royal Albert's, Thomas Wild & Sons. Made at their St Marys works in Longton, Staffordshire and carrying their 1965 back stamp.

Condition: Excellent - free from chips, cracks and crazing. The pattern is as new and the gilding around the trim shows approx 1% wear, mainly a tiny spot on top of the cup handle. It carries the strike through backstamp, but as is so often the case I not not why.

Size: Footed Cup - 7cms tall and 9cms across. Saucer - 14cms across. Side plate - 16cms in diameter.

Decor: Not to be confused with the Old Country Roses pattern, this Celebration pattern makes use of roses and leafage with much deeper colours. The thick gilding around the trim of each piece completes the decor.

A striking Celebration trio, around 40 years of age and in excellent condition, showing no signs of previous use.
