Royal Albert Chelsea Bird Trio

Description: Made by Thomas Wild, at their St Mary's works in Longton, Staffordshire and carrying their 1941 back stamp and registration.

Condition: Excellent - free from surface marks, chips, cracks and crazing. The pattern's in pristine condition, showing no wear and the trim gilding shows approx 5% wear, mainly on the cup.

Size: Footed Cup: 6cms tall & 9.2cms across. Saucer: 14cms across. Side plate: 16.3cms in diameter.

Decor: Decorated in their maroon trimmed Chelsea Bird pattern, with the a large pheasant-like bird as the centre-piece. This is surrounded by bright coloured floral sprays, inside of a scrolled maroon outer perimeter. The pattern continues inside the cup, right to the bottom. A generous gilding around the trim of each piece completes the decor.

Around 68 years of age and it's in excellent condition.
