BONNIE PRINCE CHARLIE - Royal Doulton Kingsware Bottle: Dewars' Bonnie Prince Charlie', designed by Charles J. Noke. Issue Dates: 1912. Brown in colour and in excellant condition.

The character on the jug is Charles Edward Stuart (1720-1788) known as 'The young Pretender', was the grandson of James II of England and leader of the Jacobites. In the Rebellion of 1745, he made the final and unsuccessful attempt to restore the Stuarts to the English throne.

This fantastic piece has been in the family for 4 genereations. We are selling this piece for my Aunty, so hopefully we will be able to ask any questions as promptly as possible.
