Presented here for consideration is a Royal Doulton Vase (shape 8301) featuring Thomas a Becket in front of Canterbury Cathedral from the Historic England series. This series was introduced in 1938 and it had been withdrawn by 1952.

It has a special back stamp that incorporates the scene name and the pattern number D.5940. The shape number “8013” is impressed into the base of the vase.

  • Dimensions

This impressive vase stands 12.5 cm (5”) tall and at 9 cm (3.5”) at its widest.

  • Condition

It is in AS NEW condition; with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs and no crazing.

This is a very impressive piece – this is the first time I have ever seen an example of this shaped vase. Hit the BUY IT NOW tab and make sure that you cannot miss out on this beauty.
