It is my privilege to present this PRISTINE Royal Doulton “Under The Greenwood Tree” (Robin Hood) Bud Vase/ Tooth Pick Holder (shape 7017). This series was first introduced in 1914 and it was discontinued in 1967. For stacks more information regarding this series visit the Royal Doulton “Under the Greenwood Tree” fact file I have attached to my Nicholnack art in pottery website.

In this fact file I have identified 19 individual scenes unique to this series. This is scene 5: “Robin Hood & Friar Tuck”. It has the black stamped special maker’s mark that was reserved for this series. The maker’s mark incorporates the scene name and the pattern number D6094. this pattern number was introduced in 1939.

  • Dimensions

This magical wee vase measures in at 6 cm (2.25”) diagonally across at the broadest and its stands 5 cm (2”) tall.

  • Condition

This magical vase is in AS NEW condition; with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs and no crazing. This is exactly as it was the day that it came off the shelf when it was purchased new nigh on 70 years ago.
