Royal Winton Art Deco Game Duck Biscuit Barrel 1920s

Up for sale is this stunning lidded biscuit barrel from Royal Winton/Grimwades in the Athena shape and decorated with their Game Duck pattern, this dated to the late 1920's.

The barrel, handle and lid are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains and crazing commensurate with age. It stand 5" high and measures 6" across the handles. There is no wear to the gilt trim, as can be seen in the photos. There is no tarnish to the rim or lid, as can be seen in the photos below.
