Up for sale is this stunning vintage jug from Royal Winton in their Carnations lustre ware pattern, in the Wycombe shape and dated between 1930-34.

The pattern is applied to a matt black finish with a lustre glaze to the patterned area, handle, base, lip & interior.

This is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains & crazing commensurate with age. The jug stands 9 " high and measures 5 1/2" from the back of the handle to the spout. There is very minor wear to the gilt trim to the handle, as can be seen in the photos. I can find no damage to the gilding or enamelling to the pattern, with no scratches or marks to the matt black finish.
