Rudolph Red Nosed Reindeer child's tea set Japan 1950's

Up for sale is this gorgeous 17 piece (including lids) porcelain child's tea set moulded and hand painted in the shape of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. 

This set would date from the 1950's and is in excellent condition. Though the majority of pieces are unmarked, this set is from Japan and is stunning.

The set comprises 6 cups, 6 saucers, teapot with lid, sugar with lid and a creamer, 17 pieces in total.

The condition of the pieces are:

Saucers (6)  All are in excellent condition, no cracks or chips. 3 1/2" in diameter.

Cups (6)  All are in excellent condition. 2" high and 3" from the back of the handle to Rudolph's nose.

Teapot with lid. Very good, no chips or cracks. 4 1/2" high and 6 1/2" from the back of the handle to Rudolph's nose.

Sugar with lid. Excellent, no cracks or chips. 3 1/2" high and 5 1/2" from handle to handle.

Creamer (1) Excellent. No chips or cracks. 2 3/4" high and 4 1/4" from the back of the handle to Rudolph's nose. There is a tiny bit of paint loss to his nose, as can be seen in the photos.

There is very little in the way of kiln debris on the set, otherwise this set is as good as the day it was made.
