Wool, without fringe, background colour - dark brown.
The special place among world wellknown unique things which compose the pride and the glory of Russia take pure-wool shawls and kerchiefs produced in the ancient Russian town of Pavlovsky Posad. When you mention "Pavlovo Posad shawls" the image of bright, smart and big kerchiefs with floral motif appears. Scarlet roses, white luxuriant lines, fiery poppies, bluebells are opening on the black, cherry, blue and cream ground fringed with foliage, spring grass or sometimes with juicy, as if a little damp berries with twings or roman-tree. Everything is playing, sparking and singing.
