Transcat produce a range of pet doors that allow your pets access to and from your home at your discretion.  Transcat has been a registered brand for over 21 years and Transcat Cat & Dog Doors have been used by family pets throughout Australasia. 

Transcat Cat Doors are designed to fit into glass doors and panels from 3 to 6 mm thickness. Designed to provide a clear, unobtrusive appearance while providing your cat with the freedom to come and go as they please. Made with tough, polycarbonate construction with a magnetic catch. Perfect for cooler months and winter.

    Transcat Cat and Dog Doors are designed to fit into glass doors and panels. A circular hole is simply cut by a competent glazier and your Transcat fitted using the nuts and bolts supplied. Transcat Cat and Dog Doors may also be fitted into timber doors and walls (screws not supplied).

    Transcat produce a range of pet doors that allow your pets access to and from your home at your discretion. 

    Transcat doors have four way locking mechanisms to give you full control of your pet.  Magnetic catches are also incorporated to restrict the flaps from flapping unnecessarily.  All doors are manufactured tough to ensure they withstand rigorous use.

Additional magnet collar units can be purchased separately for multiple cat households.


Installation Guide

Transcat Cat Doors are designed to fit into glass doors and panels from 3-6mm of thickness. Installation into most ranch slider type doors is also possible where there is a clearance of more than 21mm on the inside of the sliding door. A circular hole, 267mm in diameter, is cut by a Glazier and your Transcat fitted.

Transcat Cat Doors may also be fitted to solid wooden panels and doors. The ring is not required. Installation is very similar for the Cat Door only, i.e. without the electronic unit. Fit the Door with self tapping screws (not supplied) to the face of the panel. The hole size should be 247mm in diameter. The Transcat Especial (electronic) Cat Door requires a 3-6mm thick supporting material such as plywood instead of glass. This is positioned over a suitably sized hole cut in the wooden door.


Please note: Pet doors can not be installed in safety glass.
