This book, The Satanic Bible, is the cornerstone of the Church of Satan, and must rate as the most important work, left by Anton LaVey, which has been instrumental in shaping modern Satanism. While the tacky little paperback versions of this classic book, are quite ubiquitous, it is nearly impossible to find a copy of the original hardcover First Edition, in anything approaching mint (or near mint) condition. Occasionally, you will see sad, mutilated copies, coming up for sale, with the torn remnants of their dust jackets barely holding together, which you may be able to pick up for a few hundred dollars, but if you want a near mint copy, you generally have to pay around the $2,000 mark.*

What I have here is a full-leather hardcover copy of The Satanic Bible, which was originally printed as a softcover, but has been professionally rebound, in full black goatskin leather, with a beautifully embossed inverted pentagram on the front cover, raised bands on the spine, black heavy stock endpapers, head- & tail-bands, a black silk ribbon, and the page edges have been stained black. This is a stunning full-leather hardcover edition of The Satanic Bible, and would make a great addition to any Satanic or occult library. This edition has the introductory essay "Opening the Adamantine Gates" by Magus Peter H. Gilmore. The book is in mint condition, with clean, unmarked pages.
