PERSIAN RUGS
Persian rugs are among the most popular types of rugs in the whole world, but that does not mean that you have to spend a fortune in order to furnish your house with these beautiful pieces of art. Our affordable prices and excellent quality rugs enable you to choose from our diverse styles to satisfy your unique taste. Every single item in our collection is hand-woven, and is the outstanding and ingenious work of people and villagers in Iran. Weaving rugs is a custom that has been taught to the younger generation by the elderly. However, weaving rugs with such density requires ten to fifteen years of experience, and it is not a task suitable for children. As humanitarians, we do not believe in child labor, or harming the environment. We can ensure our customers that all of our rugs are made with 100% wool, cotton or silk, and are environmentally friendly. Except for transportation means, not a single machine has been used in the process of making these rugs. You can be guaranteed that with every masterpiece, you will bring warmth, history, and culture to your living environment. It’s time to decorate your house with character. Go ahead and give life to your setting.

-We strongly suggest and implore customer to resolve any outstanding issue by communicating with us. Leaving a bad feedback won't solve any problem and it will lead to other possible dispute. If we cannot meet the happy outcome, we are gladly to refund your money plus return postage fees.

Remember, nothing is perfect in this world so are we. By communicating, we both can eliminate the dispute and create a win-to-win outcome :)

Heriz rugs originate from Heriz, located in the Province of Azerbaijan. Heriz is a very important production center of Persian carpets. Hand woven by the Turkish inhabitants of Heriz, the creation of Persian carpets is their primary source of income and this time honored craft is passed down from generation to generation. The skilled artisans still use basically the same technique as that of the Mongols who invaded the region in the 13th century. Heriz rugs are the most sought after of the tribal rugs. Antique Heriz Persian carpets called Serapi (woven before 1900) are extremely valuable and highly collectable. Most weavers use the Turkish double knot, while the KPSI (knots per square inch) will vary depending upon the quality of the carpet. Heriz Persian carpets from the town's workshops are of better quality than those from the remote mountain villages. The silk Persian carpets are exceptionally finely knotted and are both very rare and absolutely exquisite.
