Rare 1st US Hardcover Edition of SF:59 - from Gnome Press from 1959. Edited by JUDITH MERRIL with an introduction by her. Features stories by JOHN STEINBECK ("The Short-Short Story of Mankind"), GERALD KERSH ("River of Riches"), FRITZ LEIBER ("Space -Time For Springers"), THEODORE STURGEON ("The Comedian's Children"), ISAAC ASIMOV, E.C. TUBB, ROBERT SHECKLEY, BRIAN ALDISS, ROG PHILLIPS and others. Has a price of $3.50 on the dust jacket. Says "First Printing" on the copyright page. Ex-Library copy with a plastic sleeve on dust jacket. Spine is straight and book is in good shape, but looks like it had a library rebind at some point. Has the usual library stamps and a checkout sleeve on the front page. Dust Jacket is glued to boards by the plastic sleeve.Shipping in the US is $3 for media mail or $5 for priority mail, $7 for First Class or $11 for priority airmail in Canada, or $10 for First class or $13 for priority airmail overseas.
